Longs Peak Hospital Foundation

We improve lives.

Caring for those who care for others.

As our community faces an unprecedented pandemic, UCHealth employees are ready to support the health care needs of Longmont and the surrounding area.

We are asking you to partner with UCHealth to give back to those who give so much of their time, talents and heart to ensure that we live extraordinary here in our region.

UCHealth has made a financial commitment, through a new Health Care Worker Emergency Relief Fund, to support our employees throughout Colorado with short-term financial assistance to meet their critical needs.

General information about Longs Peak Hospital Foundation.
Our not-for-profit hospitals focus on investing resources to improve the lives of our families, friends and neighbors in the Longmont area. Our foundation helps provide value-added services not covered by insurance.

Through the generosity of individual, corporate, and foundation donors, as well as through public grant funding, Longs Peak Hospital Foundation provides funding to support innovative research and education, patient financial assistance, community health programs, and enhancements to patient care.

Private donations from community members enable us to bridge gaps in services, accelerate advances in health care, and help thankful patients and families express gratitude. Many critically important services offered for UCHealth patients and families in the Longmont area would not exist without private donations made through the foundation.

100 percent of every donated dollar goes to the foundation’s philanthropic funds, with no overhead costs or administrative fees.

Scholarships transform lives and communities

In the two years since Longs Peak Hospital Foundation was established, the generosity of private donors and community business partners has contributed to a total of $44,525 in awards to 32 dedicated and top-performing hospital employees.

Teach them young

Learning the importance of giving starts young. Parker and Naya, children of Longs Peak Hospital’s Dr. Devin Rickett, set up a lemonade stand outside their home and raised $100, which they donated to the foundation's patient assistance fund.

Phototherapy for babies with jaundice

Donor contributions to the foundation’s Women & Children’s Care Fund recently made an impact, providing two biliblankets for Longs Peak Hospital’s special care nursery. These blankets provide phototherapy to treat babies who have jaundice.

Longs Peak Hospital’s rehabilitation clinic began offering a lymphedema clinic in May. The service is the result of a collaboration between lymphedema experts from UCHealth rehabilitation clinics in Denver and Fort Collins and Lauren Brown, Longs Peak Hospital’s certified lymphedema therapist.
